Exhibitions

The centre operates two gallery areas displaying works of Art and Aboriginal crafts from our local and regional artists which are for sale to the public. In addition, the centre’s own collections of artefacts and donated art works are displayed for educational and cultural tourists.

Along with our permanent exhibitions, local artists or performers have the opportunity to display and market their works in public exhibitions held for periods of two to three months.

Lines of Belonging

This exhibition brings together a collection of both newer and older works by Nathan Dawson. While Nathan hasn’t lived in the Gunnedah area, his cultural connection to that place and community continues to inform and shape his art.

Lloyd Hornsby Collection

Lloyd Gawura Hornsby (b.1947) is a Koori, descendent of the NSW Aboriginal Yuin People. His passion and talent for art manifested in childhood and developed while in his adolescence.
